Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?
Priory of the Orange Tree – Samantha Shannon
that’s it. it’s a monster so i just read it at home (it’s very ditracting) but on my commutes I listen to audiobooks because canada is tres froid right now.
Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?
I was reading the Cruel Prince by Holly Black series , and anything with faeries feels like a goos transitition from fall too wintery vibes. I did read a wintery book and it was actually really good, i think it was We met in Decemeber Rosie Curtis. it was actually pretty good.
Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?
At the point of writing this all of the books i anticipated have already probably come out so i’ll probably be waiting until the paperbacks come out because i like how my tabs look lmao. except mass media paperbacks those are horrible but all the older romance books i like are in this format and it makes me so fucking mad lmao.
What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?
Priory of the Orange Tree
The Queen of Nothing
Not so Pure and Simple
Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favourite book of the year?
I’m pretty surprised by a lot of books so anything can happen haha
Have you already started making reading plans for 2020?
I’ve been brain storming, mostly trying to stick to the unreadshelf project, possibly trying more readathons. not entirely sure yet because future things!
Let me know what you’ve been up to!
